Jonathan Yabut is the proud Filipino winner of the hit Asian reality TV show, The Apprentice Asia.
Born and raised in Manila, Jonathan is a multi-awarded marketer and HR professional with over 15 years of experience in Southeast Asia. Dubbed as “Asia’s Millennial Guru”, he is Asia’s leading motivational speaker on topics involving leadership, career advancement, communication skills, and office productivity.
Jonathan is the author of three best-selling motivational books, “From Grit to Great” (2015), “Fast Forward” (2017), and “Single, Taken, Or Building My Empire” (2019), which offers career tips and advice for aspiring corporate millennials. In 2022, he launched his 4th book, “Everything Will Be Alright” which centers on work-life balance and mental well-being.
By record, he is the only Filipino author today able to penetrate the Southeast Asian markets of Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia as a certified best-selling author.
Jonathan today is the founder and managing director of his marketing consultancy firm, The JY Consultancy & Ventures, which offers marketing and talent optimization services to start-ups and Fortune 500 companies in Asia.

Your business with us allows us to help the youth!
Since 2013, JY Consultancy and Ventures has been donating to various NGOs and schools in Southeast Asia as part of its education advocacy. To date, we have touched the lives of 120+ scholars around the ASEAN region!
In 2023, we added one more advocacy: sheltering dogs on the street (Jon is a proud father of 2 adopted dogs he took when the pandemic happened).
